Status Updates on ARRA Competitive Grants for Higher Education

The Department of Higher Education has been charged, in conjunction with the Office of the Comptroller, to track any ARRA funds received by the state and community colleges directly from the federal government, outside of the State Fiscal Stabilization Funding. Further information on this reporting process will be available soon.

According to the U.S. Department of Education, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for many competitive grant programs will be issued during the summer, and in some cases, grants will be awarded starting in the fall of 2009.
