Commissioner Search Task Force

Massachusetts Board of Higher Education Chairman Frederick W. Clark has established a 12-member search task force to conduct a national search for a new Commissioner of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education to assume the post in June 2008. The committee is chaired by Clark and includes representatives of the Board of Higher Education; public higher education institutions, including presidents, faculty, and students; and private higher education institutions.

The task force is charged with coordinating an active search to attract highly qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and narrowing the pool to three finalists for consideration by the Board of Higher Education by May 2008.
