Nurse of the Future - Competency Work
A Nurse of the Future Steering and Competency Development Committee has been established to define further research in competency.
A follow-up conference was held on November 2, 2007. The agenda (.DOC) included further discussion on the Nurse of the Future competencies.
Nursing Core Competency Documents:
The Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (DHE) Nurse of the Future Competency (NOFC) Committee has authored a publication policy pertaining to use of Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies© in publications, presentations, and project materials to support and facilitate dissemination of outcomes from its completed work.
The NOFC Committee requires individuals complete and submit the Massachusetts Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies© Project Materials Permission for Use Form to the DHE prior to material usage.
Download and carefully review the Publication Policy and submit the Permission for Use Form prior to utilizing any of the Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies© materials.
