College Participation Study Group

The College Participation Study Group was created in May 2010 as a first step toward the Vision Project's objectives of national leadership in college participation and equity among subpopulations with respect to this outcome. The specific task of the Study Group will be to analyze available data on college participation with a view toward identifying where improvement is needed to achieve and maintain overall national leadership in college attendance and to eliminate disparities. The analysis provided by the Study Group will serve as a precursor to the activities of a successor group that will be charged to analyze the issues and develop recommendations with respect to programmatic interventions and state policies that will be most effective in advancing the goal of national leadership in college participation.
