Insurance Benefits
The Commonwealth provides Long-Term Disability and Group Term Life Insurance for active ORP participants. These benefits provide survivor benefits and income protection for plan participants to supplement retirement account benefits. The premiums are paid by the Commonwealth as part of the Employer Matching Contribution.
Benefits are also provided for retirees, including those who retire due to disability.
