The MassTransfer programs include the MassTransfer Block and ensure that a minimum of 60 credits will be transferred and applied to the student's baccalaureate program. And, depending on GPA, the student may qualify for guaranteed admission and a tuition discount.
Additional transfer agreements guarantee admission and full transfer and applicability of credits to the baccalaureate degree but do not include the MassTransfer Block. Students are still eligible for the 100% tuition waiver (effective Fall 2016), depending on GPA. (Please note that some additional transfer agreements do not qualify for the tuition waiver because they are not state-funded academic programs.)
The statewide Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education Compacts are for students transferring from community colleges to state university or University of Massachusetts campuses offering licensure programs at the baccalaureate level.
The Nursing Education Transfer Policy is for students transfering from a community college Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at a state university or UMass. Executive Summary
