Scholarships

The Massachusetts Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) oversees the distribution of all state scholarship money. Contact OSFA external to research statewide scholarship opportunities.

Some public institutionsGlossary offer scholarships for transfer students. A few of these scholarships are listed below, keep in mind that each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements and deadlines.

There are many other scholarships not listed; contact your transfer institution's financial aid office to discuss these and other possibilities.

Chancellor's Scholarship: up to full tuition and fees

Chancellor's Scholarship: Spring: March 1 for Round I; June 1 for Round II
Fall: December 15.
University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Chancellor's Transfer Scholarship Fee waiver up to $5,000 Recipients are selected by Admissions Committee during application review process.
University of Massachusetts Lowell Community College Transfer Scholarship $2,500 per year for full-time students (pro-rated for part-time students) Contact UMass Lowell
