The Board of Higher Education is currently seeking applications for the following positions:


The GEAR UP Program Director will coordinate statewide (federally funded) academic and college preparatory program, with focused services to specific middle and high schools in targeted urban districts. The Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) provides academic support programs to assist targeted middle schools achieve the Annual Yearly Progress required as part of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). The primary objective of GEAR UP is to prepare disadvantaged students for college through the provision of continuous support services from grade seven through twelve. The Project Coordinator for Workforce Development Initiatives will assist in program planning and management for the Board of Higher Education's statewide nursing/allied health education programs. The Project Coordinator will assist the Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development in meeting Board of Higher Education workforce development goals and obligations.
