Strategic Capital Planning

In FY2001, the Board of Higher Education, along with the Division of Capital Asset Management and the colleges, embarked on a multi-phase capital planning initiative to articulate the need for capital investment and provide a more efficient and transparent method of allocating capital resources. Regional Master Plans for state and community colleges in the Southeast, Central, and Pioneer Valley regions were completed in January 2007; Plans for the Boston Metro, Northeast, and Berkshire regions will be completed in November 2007.
