Tuition & Mandatory Fees

Use this set of dashboards to explore trends in undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees at Massachusetts public colleges and universities. This dashboard reflects the published rates and does not account for financial aid or scholarships; actual costs may be lower. Learn more about free community college and other financial aid, grants, and scholarships that can reduce the cost of attending college.

The first three dashboards show tuition and fees at each of the segments, allowing you to view trends by individual institutions within each segment. The fourth dashboard displays segment-level averages weighted by student enrollment. You can filter each dashboard by metric (tuition, fees, or tuition and fees), dollar type (unadjusted or inflation-adjusted), student residency status, and the trend time period.

• Figures published by DHE may differ slightly from figures published by other institutions and organizations due to differences in timing of publication, data definitions, and calculation logic.
