MassTransfer

MassTransfer is a collaboration between the Commonwealth's community colleges, state universities and the University of Massachusetts. System-wide resources and policies allow for students to transfer seamlessly, stay on track and minimize the time it takes to earn a bachelor’s degree. Many programs and majors are eligible for transfer through the MassTransfer program, and students can choose from a variety of pathways depending on what they want to study. Start at a community college and get a headstart on a bachelor’s degree or go all the way from associate to bachelor's with an “A2B Degree”! >> Learn more

Nursing Transfer

The Nursing Education Transfer Compact (NETC) was developed by a working group of nurse educators, convened through the Academic Progression in Nursing (APIN) grant awarded jointly to the Department of Higher Education and the Organization of Nurse Leaders. The NETC is based on the National League for Nursing (NLN) Outcomes and Competencies, American Associate of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing, the Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies©, and data gathered from a survey of nursing programs throughout the Commonwealth. The NETC is modeled on the Early Childhood Education Compact and incorporates elements of the MassTransfer policy. >> Learn more
