Health and Welfare Trust Fund

The Trustees of the Health and Welfare Trust Funds encourage participation in the funds among Non-Unit Employees, Massachusetts Teachers Association and Massachusetts Public Employees. The select providers deliver dental, vision and health care for covered individuals.

We have partnered with John Hancock Life Insurance Company to offer long term care insurance to active and retired members on a discounted premium arrangement. Eligibility also includes members’ spouses, partners, parents and parents-in law.

For additional information, you should contact the John Hancock Financial Network (800-878-9921), which is the entity responsible for servicing the plan. Members can also access information at John Hancock’s website for Non-Unit Employees.

Non-Unit Employees

Eligible Massachusetts non-unit employees are able to enroll in MetLife health and dental benefits. The Trustees of these funds encourage qualified applicants to enroll.
